Pharrell shared the first Despicable Me 3 song “Yellow Light ” last week, and as the soundtrack’ s main artist and producer , there’s plenty more where that came from. With the second single from the upcoming Minions movie, Skateboard P keeps the funky, feel-good vibes coming on “There’s Something Special ” Despicable Me 3 hits theaters on June 30 while the soundtrack drops a week earlier on June 23.
Pharrell clearly loves him some Minions , as the producer tends to bring out a slew of new music whenever a new Despicable Me flick drops . The third installment of the trilogy has already given us the “Yellow Light ” single, and now comes another joint from Skateboard P . As this franchise is decidedly family friendly, the Neptunes-era Pharrell is nowhere to be found .
