PDP Crisis Deepens As DAAR Communication Founder, Raymond Dokpesi Float New Political Party In Abuja

The Founder of DAAR Communications, owner of African Independent Television (AIT) and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Raymond Dokpesi, has reportedly unveiled a new political party – Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA) – on Monday in Abuja, TheCable reports.

The party was officially unveiled to the public earlier this morning during a live broadcast by AIT at the Reiz continental Hotel, central Area Abuja, the nation’s capital around 11 am.

The unveiling ceremony was chaired by Chief Dan Nwanyanwu on behalf of the National Executive committee of Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA).

The party had earlier confirmed its unveiling in a short statement which reads:

“Good morning CF. This morning 5th June at 11am prompt, Chief Dan Nwanyanwu on behalf of the National Executive committee of Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA) will be officially unveiling the new political party to the public.

“This ceremony will be televised live on AIT, the venue is Reiz continental Hotel, central Area Abuja”.

The slogan of the new party is ‘Stronger Together’, and one Shitu Kabiru is its interim national chairman, as the national executive committee of the party is yet to be constituted.
