CONFEDERATION CUP: Chile Beat Portugal 3-0 On Penalties To Reach Final

It’s been a while such has happened but Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo did the magic by saving 3 penalty kicks in a row to help Chile to a 3-0 win over Portugal in the semi-final of the FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia.

After a goalless 120 minutes that looks well balanced though Chile hit the post twice in succession in the dying minutes of extra time, penalty shoot-out was to decide who will play in the final of the Russian competition.

Arturo Vidal shot in the first kick for Chile and from there it was classic Claudio Bravo saving Portugal’s 3 kicks in succession taken by Ricardo Quaresma, Jaoa Moutinho and Nani.

Simply a standout performance from the Chilean goalkeeper.

Bravo! Claudio Bravo.

Germany takes on Mexico in tomorrow’s second semi-final.
