‘Sick’ Wizkid cancels December, January shows

​Music star, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, has cancelled his homecoming concert scheduled for December and all shows in January 2017.

The Pop-star, who made this known via his twitter handle on Friday, said he is acting on his doctor’s recommendation as he has been working for over two years now without any break.

He said, “Team Wizkid and I have been on the road for over two years without observing any break”.

The ‘Ojuelegba’ Crooner apologised to his fans in Nigeria and Uganda with hope for a new music before the end of this year, and promised to be back stronger and better.

The 26-year-old musician who has toured the world non-stop and had earlier announced his homecoming concert announced he needed time to recuperate.

Although he has not performed in Nigeria since the beginning of 2016, he has no doubt had a great year with landmark awards around the globe.

The Afro-Pop artiste, who began his music career at age 11 was recently nominated for a Grammy courtesy of Drake`s album ‘views’ which was nominated for album of the year
