Ondo: Official INEC Result Update In 13 LGAs

​In the Governorship election which held on the 26th of November, 2016 in Ondo state, official result by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, is being collated and announced as at the time of filing this report today, 27th November, 2016.

The contending candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Rotimi Akerdolu, SAN, and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, were locked in a tight race, yesterday, in the Ondo State governorship election.

Prof. Abdul Ganiyu Ambali of the University of Ilorin is the Chief Returning Officer , REC, for the Ondo state Governorship election.

The state has a total of 18 local government areas.
