Both teams started the half by attacking briskly and leaving wide open spaces at the back even though Sevilla was dominating the beginning. In the 16th minute Vitolo managed to cement this dominance by bursting through and smacking a goal past Ter Stegen. Barça was pushed on the back foot and were lucky not to concede a second. At the stroke of half-time with Sevilla being cocky in their attack which Barcelona taking advantage of a space created by the “sevillanos” and Messi bends a balls past Rico into the bottom corner.
