LMAO! Nigerian Commercial Bank, Stanbic IBTC Mocks Manchester United’s Paul Pogba on Twitter
One of the leading commercial banks in Nigeria, Stanbic IBTC has joined social media users in shading Manchester United record signing, Paul Pogba.
Stanbic IBTC has mocked Paul Pogba on Twitter technically after making 5 match appearances for the Red Devils with below par performances.
“Want investments that don’t cost £89m and you can still dab about? Email us [email protected]” the group posted on its social media page.
Although the group didn’t mention the name of the footballer who is fast becoming an object of social media memes, netizens have affirmed it’s Pogba, following the record fee he was purchased for.
Paul Labile Pogba (born 15 March 1993) is a French professional footballer who plays for English club Manchester United and the France national team. He operates primarily as a central midfielder and is comfortable playing both in attack and defence.
After beginning his career with Manchester United in 2011, Pogba joined Italian side Juventus in 2012, and helped the club to four consecutive Serie A titles, as well as two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana titles.
Despite leaving Manchester United on a free transfer, Pogba returned to the club in 2016 for a world record transfer fee of €105 million (£89.3 million).
Pogba’s return to Manchester United after 4 years has been regarded as a setback for the young footballer following the poor performances of the club which has lost three matches in a row.
