Justin Bieber Lookalike, Tobias Strebel Dies Of Multiple Drug Intoxication

​35-year-old Tobias Strebel who was Justin Bieber lookalike and who spent $100,000 on plastic surgery to look like the pop star has been confirmed dead by a coroner. The Wrap reports that Strebel died from multiple drug intoxication.

Tobiaswas was found in a Los Angeles Motel three days after being reported missing. According to the autopsy report, Strebel’s overdose was accidental, with the lookalike having Vicodin, Xanax, alcohol and sleep aid Temazepam in his system. It was also reported that drugs were found around his room.

The German-born aspiring songwriter reportedly began his surgeries in 2008 to imitate Bieber when the pop star was only 13. At the time, Bieber was a budding YouTube star who had just been signed by Scooter Braun.

In 2013 Strebel’s immense medical bill and yearnings to look like the young pop star made news and he appeared on plastic surgery show Botched in 2014. Later, he appeared on TLC’s My Strange Addiction.

“When Justin Bieber got famous, I was so jealous of his good looks,” Strebel said on the reality show. “He had this baby face that I just really liked. I was like ‘Damn, that’s what I want to look like!”

Over a period of seven years, Strebel had multiple hair transplants, eyebrow filler and smile surgery to fully imitate the youthful look of the singer.

“I can definitely look back and say that all those surgeries were really successful,”

he said
