A judge was left totally shocked and angry at jail officers after a woman was brought to her court wearing no pants.

A Louisville judge was left totally infuriated after a female inmate was brought to her court without wearing pants.

Dailymail reports that the woman’s attorney told Judge Amber Wolf that Metro Corrections ‘refused to give her pants and any kind of hygiene products that she needed’ , WDRB reported.

The angry judge had to immediately call the Metro Corrections director Mark Bolton. In a video later released, Wolf said: ‘Excuse me? This is outrageous. Is this for real?’

The woman, who was in jail for not completing a diversion program for a 2014 shoplifting charge, told the judge that she repeatedly requested pants and that she had been in the jail for two or three days, the station reported.

‘Am I in the Twilight Zone?’ Wolf asked in the video.

Wolf apologized to the woman for the ordeal and asked the Jefferson District Court staff to find her something to cover up with.

The judge could be heard in the video asking to speak with Bolton so that he could explain why ‘there is a female defendant standing in front of me with no pants on’.

The woman was wearing athletic shorts, according to jail officials.

Spokesman for the jail, Steve Durham, told WDRB that the woman hadn’t been in custody long enough to be given a jail jumpsuit.

Metro Corrections Deputy Director Dwayne Clark said the woman should have been given a jumpsuit. Clark said that he was going to ‘look into why she wasn’t’ and take steps to correct the issue, WDRB reported.

Wolf released the woman from jail with time served and a $100 fine after calling her to the bench to apologize after she was given appropriate clothing, WDRB reported.

‘This is completely inhumane and unacceptable. I’m sorry you had to go through this.’
