MTN Launches Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Free App, "You Can Now Win Money Online"
No time for some unprofitable apps taking unnecessary space on one’s device. If you have been dreaming of having a chance to feature on MTN-sponsored syndicated game show WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE? (WWTBAM) but do not know when and if that dream to showcase your knowledge and become a Millionaire will ever come true, you can now start celebrating because the game can now be played on your device wherever you are.
MTN has recently developed the WWTBAM app which is on Google Play Store for free and will be available on Facebook in the coming weeks.
Using the app will not only be for leisure or intellectual gains, top players will win weekly and monthly cash prizes, in addition the App provides another means of getting on the hot seat to win up to Ten Million Naira as top weekly and monthly players will be invited to try their luck in fastest fingers first.
Announcing this over the weekend at a media parley which had in attendance several members of the press, Olumide Akinlabi, Media Director for Ultima Limited (producers of the show) , stated that the introduction of the WWTBAM Nigerian app was long overdue and this will give more Nigerians the opportunity to test their knowledge and also win money while doing so.
The Nigerian version of Who wants to be a millionaire? is based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? It first aired on 8 October 2004.WWTBAM which is currently in its 15th season, airs every Sunday on Nigerian Television stations and is hosted by broadcaster Frank Edoho.
On September 11, 2009, Aroma Ufodike became the first person to win the ₦10,000,000, and currently, he is the only one who won the top prize of this game show.
