Fake NYSC Corp Member Nabbed In Enugu
A man, Henry Emeka Onyekwere impersonating as a National Youth Service Corps, NYSC member has been arrested by the Enugu Police command for allegedly trying to register with a fake call up letter.
The suspect who operatives hails from Ihube, Okigwe, Imo State, but resides in Ghana was arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigations Department, CID.
Apparently he was arrested on November 9, 2014, at the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, orientation camp in Awgu, Enugu State where he attempted to register as a prospective corps member with a fake call up letter from Abia State University, Uturu, Vanguard reports.
According to Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, “the suspected claimed to be a graduate from the Department of Industrial Physics, Abia State Univeristy, Uturu.”
Recall recently, it was reported that a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Helen Bando, was sentenced to one year imprisonment for submitting forged documents to the Indian High Commission.
