5 Questions For The Living
Yesterday I went for the burial of a very good friend, a course mate and a brother, Dickson Chukwuka. He was a very calm and matured guy, always ready to help a fellow brother, even a total stranger. And just 17 days after we wrote our final year degree exams together all we heard was that he was no more .
I cried when I got the sad news, I wish it was a rumour, I prayed that there was a mistake somewhere. But yesterday it was dawn on me that he was really gone. I know we(course mates, family and friends ) love him, but God loves him more.
Since after I came back from the burial I realise that we the living have some question to answer why we live, these following 5 questions will determine a lot after you are gone:
1). How many lives did you touch positively while you lived?
2). What was your relationship with your fellow human being like while you live?
3). Did you try as much as you can to live a decent, honest and righteous life?– your relationship with your God?
4). What would you be remembered for after your are gone?
5). Do you live your life like you never gonna die one day?- Forgetting that we are all visitors on earth, and will answer the call one day?
Rest in peace Engr. Dickson Chukwuka.
