Osaze Ruled Out Of Remaining Season Due To Injury

Nigerian Forward Osaze Odemwingie might be ruled out for the next six months amid fears that he injured his cruciate Knee ligament against Manchester city, in Stoke 0-1 surprise win.

Osaze had collapsed to the floor at the Etihads with no opposing player close to him on Saturday and was then subbed off.
Osaze had been expected to play a crucial role for Stoke this season after playing a pivotal role in Stoke’s last season performance.
Stoke boss Mark Hughes had said during his post game press conference that the injury was nothing serious.
Well according to media sources, the light skinned forward has  ruptured his knee ligament and Stoke are aiming acquiring Oussama Assaidi on loan as his replacement, the Stoke Sentinel said.
Stoke had tried to get the Liverpool man after he spent last season at the Britannia scoring wonderful goals for the team.
However Assaidi high wage demands seems to be stalking the deal, but it is said that this won’t stop stoke from pushing for him before tonight’s transfer deadline.
Stoke are also said to monitoring the availability of Aaron Lennon is another possibility, but his former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp reportedly wants him at Queens Park Rangers.
Osaze had played for the National team at the World Cup in Brazil and his goal against Bosnia was crucial for the Eagles getting to the Second round
