DIVORCE: Pastor Chris Removes Wife From Christ Embassy's Website, As Things Get Messier

The divorce saga between Pastors Chris and Anita Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy Church aka Believer’s Love World just got messier.
On Sunday, August 31, two days after the news of Anita filing for divorce surfaced online, her pictures and personal information were reportedly deleted by Christ Embassy from its official website, www.christembassy.org.
Christ Embassy’s new website now shows only Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, with a broad smile welcoming his followers to the month of August, and tagging it, ‘Month of Praise’.
In the past, when things were working between them, Anita and Chris Oyakhilome held hands on the church website and smiled broadly and they projected the image of a perfect couple.
Also, the website of the Rhapsody of Realities, a daily devotional co-authored by Chris and Anita, doesn’t show anything that the wife is still recognized.
According to PM News report, many have described this action as the beginning of a process to shut her out of the church after she filed a divorce suit in London against her husband, accusing him of adultery and other things.
Pastor Chris headed the Nigerian branch of the church, though he travelled to other branches occasionally, while Anita headed the branch in London and its environs.
This is said to be one of the reasons for the divorce. While Anita believes she has been relegated in the scheme of things in the church, her husband has reportedly accused her of trying to usurp power and authority above her seniors in the ministry.
The church is scattered all over the world, including in the United Kingdom, the United States, South America and the whole of Europe.
Christ Embassy runs several arms including the Healing School, Rhapsody of Realities, and an N.G.O called the Innercity Missions as well as three Christian television channels: LoveWorld TV, LoveWorld SAT and LoveWorld Plus.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has been surrounded with controversy in time past. He had come under attack after he said there is no where in the Bible that mentions keeping a child from a woman who was raped.
He also caused an uproar when he claimed that Christians were free to masturbate because it was not a sin.
