In a bid to curb the spread of Ebola virus, Churches, Mosques and religious organisations have been told by the Lagos state government to suspend all activities that involve large gatherings of people.
The state commissioner for health, Jide Idris, told newsmen this directive was in a bid to prevent the spread of the disease that recently claimed its first victim.
Mr Idris at the daily briefing on the Ebola outbreak at Alausa, said that of 8 people who were tested for the deadly virus, four have been confirmed positive while one result came back negative.
They are currently waiting for the results of the three others
