Although the father has had a glittering career free of controversies, a son of legendary actor, Jackie Chan, is in the news for the wrong reasons. The Karate Kid star’s son named Jaycee, has been arrested for marijuana possession. The 32-year old son of the iconic Kung-Fu actor, who opened the Asian cinema to the west, was arrested by Chinese police according to reports. Jaycee, who is connected to the movie industry, was stopped along with his actor friend, Kai Ko, who is 23 years old. But police sources later said they found more than 3.5 ounces of marijuana was found at Jaycee’s home just as and his friend also tested positive for marijuana use.
Jackie Chan can’t be too happy. The martial arts king’s son was arrested in a Beijing drug bust, according to The Daily News in New York. Police announced that Jaycee Chan, 31, was among several suspects detained on drug-related offenses, according to China’s People’s Daily. The actor was arrested after police found 100 grams of marijuana at his home.
Last week, Jackie said he was putting the brakes on his movie career.
“The next morning, you realize wow, it hurts!” said Chan, 60. “Now my body tells me to slow down 30 percent and probably in another two years, 20 more, then 50 percent. So slowly, slowly, then I will tell the whole world, stop doing action.”
Perhaps he wants to spend more time with his son, whom he reportedly cut off three years ago
