EBOLA: 'We Are Africans Not Americans…'- Tonto Dikeh

Few hours after movie director Charles Novia condemned the Nigerian celebrities for participating in the ALS ice water challenge that is currently trending. Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has therefore started what she calls the “Wash Your Hands Challenge”
The Nollywood actress, has also condemned the act, saying we are Africans not Americans, She started this to further raise awareness of the Ebola virus.
In her words “We Africans always want to blend with the western trend forgetting the fact we have our own to think care about!! Most of you all involving in the ALS ice water challenge don’t even know what ALS Stand for yet you want to do it because is trending, just like you did when Our girls was kidnapped, everyday it was all about #bringbackourgirls, is been months, days our girls are still yet to be seen but No one is saying nothing about it!!
Palz I like you all to join me in what I call #WashYourHandsChallenge to help raise awareness of the deadly Disease killing Hundreds and infecting thousands daily in Africa! I challenge all you my Pals to take the #WashYourHandsChallenge, take a picture or a video of yourself washing your hands, send/tag/share it to me and I will be glad to repost it, also I will be giving out airtime and Goodies to palz that will be taking part in this!!” she wrote.
Many have commended the actress on this and said they are proud of her bold step. The actress and few celebrities joined in a video that is helping to raise awareness of the Ebola virus.
