36-Year-Old Man Arrested For Raping 9-Year-Old Girl

Detectives attached to Uke Police Division have arrested a 36-year-old man, Ezekiel Inuwa for raping a 9-year-old girl at Gidan-Zakara in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Ezekiel who is currently cooling his heels at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Lafia, the state capital was said to have committed the crime on July 29, at about 8:45p.m, according to the state spokesman, Numan Umaru Isma’ila.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Numan Umaru Isma’ila who confirmed the arrest said the suspect was apprehended based on a tip-off.
He said Ezekiel Inuwa has since confessed to committing the offence while stating that the investigations had commenced and the suspect will soon be charged to court
