Kelechi Iheanacho Scores On His Debut For Manchester City
Kelechi Iheanacho scored in Manchester City defeated Sporting Kansas City 4-1, to cap an impressive senior debut for the Premier League champions.
The Nigerian forward, whose paperwork is still being processed by the Etihad side, was on the end of Jesus Navas’ cross and had the required composure and precision to tuck away the chance.
The 17-year-old was also awarded Man of the Match and the ESPN commentator said: “Iheanacho. Watch out for that name. You’re going to be hearing that name for a long time to come. Eye catching display.”
Iheanacho burst onto the scene last year, as the talisman of the Nigeria U-17 team that clinched the World Cup in UAE.
