"Nollywood Is Dead" – Tinsel's Bimbo Manuel Admits

The veteran believes those who celebrated the film industry were mischievous and ignorant!
In the wake of top actress Genevieve Nnaji’s alleged reaction to the poor state and management of Nollywood, Tinsel actor, Bimbo Manuel is also throwing tantrums at  the  ‘Nollywood At 20’ celebration held back in January 2014. He says it is nothing to ride home about.
The veteran thinks the celebration was simply stupid since, to him, Nollywood has existed way pass 20 and is still a baby!
In a new interview, the actor expressed disappointment with some ‘not mentioned’ names in the film industry who think they have the right to do whatever they want for their own benefit. He said,
“As far as some of us are concerned, the issue of Nollywood at 20 is dead and buried. Even those who sat down mischievously and decided to celebrate Nollywood at 20, have decided to acknowledge and accept the fact that it is not so.”
He indirectly mentioned how ignorant some movie makers are,
“They celebrated Nollywood at 20 because for them, that was the point where they could put a marker, because that was for them where the history of film in Nigeria started. It was when they started work. But the truth is, there are some people who have made films, grew old and died before these people celebrating Nollywood at 20 were born.” The veteran actor said.
Given all what Bimbo has said, do you guys agree with him or not?
