Mourinho is touted to be a big fan of Emenike, especially with his performances at the World Cup
According to Reports earlier in the week by a Turkish football paper, Chelsea are showing deep interest in bringing Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike to the Stamford Bridge.
Emenike is also been chased by Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Russian club Zenit; a possible deal with any of these clubs is imminent as the player has expressed his desire to play in the Premiership.
The Fenerbahce striker told NTV Sport: “If I get an offer from those clubs [Chelsea and Tottenham] in England which meets Fenerbahçe’s valuation and if my club are happy with the offer I would have no problem making the move.”
Already his coach at Fenerbahce has given the green light to the transfer whilst wanting to keep the player.
There is unconfirmed report that Chelsea are set to make a bid around the cost of £16m: Fenerbahce have placed a transfer fee 20 Million euros on the 27 year-old Nigerian front man.
