High flying Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has repeated that his side priority is top four and now having achieved that any other honours will be a plus.
The manager keeps on trying to downplay his teams chances even though they are 5 points ahead with three games left.
The Merseyside club will face a depleted Chelsea side on Sunday, and are looking to get there hands on the crown they have not won since 1990.
Brendan Rodgers said: “I would be lying if I said I thought at the start of season we could be top of the table at this stage.
“Pressure? That’s what they have at Man City and Chelsea, where they are expected to win the league. I’m enjoying being top of the league. I have never slept better!”
“Whatever team Chelsea put out, it will cost more than ours and be more experienced than ours.
“Jose’s a winner – he won’t give up. He knows me well enough to know it wouldn’t bother me one iota.”
Liverpool are five points ahead of Chelsea with three games to go,
Do you think they can hold off the blues?
