Boy kills his mother over missing memory card

A 17-old boy identified as Emmanuel Gyan, has been arrested for allegedly killing his mother over a missing memory card at Wassa in the Western Region, Ghana.

The accused, on Monday January 15, allegedly accused the mother of taking his memory card and subsequently confronted her on the missing item. The deceased, Faustina Agyeiwaa, 52, denied any knowledge of the missing memory card but Emmanuel wouldn’t take the mother’s plea.

According to Wassa Police, Isaac became furious over the matter and attacked the mother with a pestle, hitting her on the head several times. Not satisfied with the beatings, Emmanuel removed firewood from a nearby fire, burned the mother with it until she succumbed to the injuries and died on the spot.

Meanwhile, a man killed his aged mother, September last year, because she was always insulting him.

According to him, he has always being victimized.

A young boy simply identified as Caleb also butchered his mother in Benin City, Edo State.

The tragic incident happened at Iyamu Street off Textile Mill Road in Benin City.

According to online report, the boy killed his mother and completely smashed her head with a bottle.

Also, a 26-year-old South African man killed the mother of his one-month-old baby boy for refusing him sex in Midrand, South Africa

The man, said to be originally from the Eastern Cape, stabbed his 23-year-old girlfriend, Isabella Dease repeatedly, leaving her body in an open veld in President Park outside Ivory Park, Midrand.

The horrific murder happened on Saturday, 14 days before the start of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign.

Charles Dease, the grieving father Isabella (inset) said he wishes a death sentence could be imposed on the man who killed his daughter.

“He deserves a death sentence. It was painful nd traumatic when I saw the bloodied body of my girl.”

He said his daughter had been stabbed several times in the neck, but a police source said her throat had been slit with a kitchen knife.

According to police sources, the man made two statements to the police, in one of the statements confessing to killing his girlfriend.

A source said the man had called the police to report that his girlfriend had been killed by two unknown men driving in a black BMW sedan.
